The Woodstock Rifle & Pistol Association is a private shooting club open to its members and their guests from mid-April through late-November. The gun club is located on 28 acres of scenic meadows and woodlands off Church Hill Road in South Woodstock, Vermont. It was founded in 1948, making 2008 our 60th Anniversary!

Annual BBQ

12 noon Saturday, August 16th

Join us for our Annual Summer BBQ! meet other members and maybe shoot off a few rounds. Bring your guns if you have the notion. There will definitely be trap shooting and a raffle for a new .22 donated by Barrow's.

We feature Rifle Ranges of 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards, Pistol Ranges of 25 and 50 yards, and a complete Trap Range.

Membership is an affordable $50 per year with discounts for seniors, juniors and families. Membership forms can be downloaded at Join the Club. We hope you'll contact us with any questions to find out how you can enter into the camaraderie that is the Woodstock Gun Club while you hone your shooting skills at one of the finest properties in Woodstock and Central Vermont. All safe shooters may apply for membership.

Check out our Events calendar for the upcoming schedule. Currently, the trap range is open at 6 pm Tuesday evenings. The cost is $4 per string. ($5 for non-members). We also feature 'Field Clays' on every other Thursday and selected Saturdays. And new this year we hope to introduce our new archery range. If you have not done so, please check our new Clean Range policy: take only shots, leave only footprints.

Members are encouraged to bring along a guest for the any and all events or just for informal shooting. Please contact us with any questions, and consider joining our Discussion Group for the latest news and info.
